Our Origins

Started in 2016 from a small family kitchen

Since childhood, Sanjay has had a palate for authentic taste. After immigrating to Canada and working in many jobs, Sanjay Verma and family brought fresh and authentic dosa batter to Montreal grocery stores. However, the community who knew how to cook dosa made batter at home, and the rest didn't know how to make authentic dosa. Poor cold storage caused batter to go stale and led to heavy losses for the Verma family. But Sanjay was determined to bring the authentic dosa of Hyderabad to Montreal, and his family supported him. With the right equipment, he opened a small restaurant in Parc-Extension.

The Verma family and team worked extremely hard to perfect the recipes and bring consistency. They received so much love that they doubled the capacity of the restaurant and have been serving authentic Hyderabadi flavors, one plate at a time.
